About Patti:
Patti began singing at the age of 5, always performing in school productions, singing in Church, participating in The Temiskaming Festival of Music, as well as many specialized Voice Programs and she has worked as a hired soloist from a young age. Patti began taking private lessons at the age of 13 and had the opportunity to work with various Voice Teachers throughout her career. Patti then continued her post secondary studies at Cambrian College, completing the 3-year Vocal Performance Diploma. During her studies, she minored in Piano and briefly studied various disciplines of Music including; Strings, Winds, Choral Music, Music Theory, The History of Music and Pedagogy.
Patti has been a private vocal instructor for more than 20 years and during that time, she has worked in the community of Temiskaming Shores for numerous Music Programs, such as; Being Chairperson of the Temiskaming Festival of Music, Choral Director for The Cat Scan Choir, The Overtones (Men’s Chorus) and a Children’s choir for several years, including a Mass Children’s Choir performing at the Olympic Stage when the Torch came through Temiskaming Shores. She has been extremely involved with the Cobalt Classic Theatre, acting as Program Director and Musical Director for the Pied Piper Kids Theatre School, and has performed in various local Musical Productions, starring as Maria in The Sound of Music and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz at the Classic Theatre, and she appeared as Fantine in Les Misérables and as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia, with Englehart's Joint Venture Theatre. From here, she was able to expand her studio to include the community of Englehart and is happy to announce she will be expanding her teaching in Kirkland Lake and is thrilled to continue to offer Musical opportunities to as many students as possible. She is equally excited to continue her Musical Journey as the New Choral Director of the Temiskaming Community Choir !
